Fresh plea to find yobs who brawled at Newbury Racecourse
POLICE investigating a mass brawl between what were believed to have been Swansea and Cardiff football fans are re-appealing for help from the public.
Violence erupted at Newbury Racecourse at around on Saturday, July 14, between men police believed had come to the races from South Wales.
Thames Valley Police released eight pictures of men that officers want to talk to in connection with the scenes of violent disorder.
Superintendent Robin Rickard urged anyone who could help to identify the men in the photographs to come forward.

He said: "This was a nasty incident involving up to 60 people fighting in the middle of the afternoon.
"It impacted on lots of innocent people and families who had planned to spend an enjoyable day at the races.
"We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour and are determined to bring to justice all those responsible."
It was thought the incident began on the ground floor of the grandstand and then spread to the racecourse itself.
Between 50 and 60 people were involved in the disorder, which was captured on video, but police had it quickly under control.
The fighting lasted around 15 minutes, and bars around the circuit had to be closed before officers brought the disorder under control
Two men from Swansea — aged 26 and 33 — were arrested and released on police bail on suspicion of affray in connection with the trouble, while another man was arrested for a suspected public order offence.
Following the incident, a four-minute video showing some of the clashes was uploaded to the YouTube website.
The video showed a group of men throwing punches at each other while stewards from the racecourse, dressed in blue jackets, tried to separate them.
