Fracking is a real option
WHERE does Keith M Ross (Have Your Say, August 12) expect us to get the energy we need? We are likely to run out any time while we rely on the unstable Middle East and Russia for oil and gas. The contribution of green measures is likely to remain small and few fancy nuclear. Of course, we don't want to start fracking in heavily built-up Swansea but with so much shale oil under Wales and the rest of Britain there are unoccupied areas where it is unlikely to do harm. That fracking is so successful in the USA it suggests that predictions of harm are exaggerated.
