A SERIES of workshops to encourage young unemployed people into the food industry are taking place from Monday.

The Co-operative food store in Cross Hands is staging the event as part of a national scheme to help encourage people into the food industry.

The store is backing Feeding Britain's Future skills for work week, a nationwide campaign.

During the workshop they will receive training in the skills they need to help them secure jobs, such as creating a CV and interview techniques.
