Firefighters' charity help
THE fundraising efforts of fire fighters in Carmarthen has paid off, resulting in £1,700 for local charities.
The funds were raised at Carmarthen fire station's open day last summer and the annual pre-Christmas collection held in the town centre. The money has been split between Help for Heroes, the Fire Fighters Charity and the Canolfan Elfed department of Queen Elizabeth High School.
