Fined for stealing toiletries
A MAN has pleaded guilty to stealing items from a supermarket superstore.
Karozis Stanevicius, 27, of Tunnan Leys, London, was caught stealing toiletries worth £23.37 at the Tesco store in Prior Street, Port Talbot, on Wednesday.
Neath Magistrates' Court heard Stanevicius was spotted on the shop's CCTV system and was stopped as he tried to leave the superstore.
The court heard he had been in South Wales looking for employment.

In mitigation the court heard Stanevicius — who is from Lithuania — had fully co-operated with the police and had entered his guilty plea at the first opportunity.
Stanevicius was fined £70, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
