Fforest man faces burglary and theft charges
A FFOREST man has appeared in court facing three charges.
Matthew James Tilson, aged 18, of Squirrel Walk in Pontarddulais appeared at Swansea Magistrates' Court facing a charge of aggravated burglary where he is alleged to have entered a house at Fford Cambria on August 4 with a set of garden shears.
He also faces two charges of attempted theft of cars. He is said to have tried to steal a Saab from Caecerrig Road and another car, a Mazda, from Water Street.
Tilson did not enter a plea in relation to the charges. Magistrates declined jurisdiction in the case and told Tilson to appear at Swansea Crown Court later this month.
