Ferry's maiden voyage from Cork to Swansea interrupted by engine failure
Passengers on board said the ship had just left Ringaskiddy and was passing Whitegate when the incident happened.
The engine was shut down and a second engine brought into operation.
It is understood the ship needs just two of its four engines for the sailing.
The ship resumed its voyage just after 10.30pm.
