Fans' anger over dead swan pic
A FRESH row has broken out between Swansea City fans and Cardiff supporters — this time on the internet.
It surrounds the shocking profile picture of a Cardiff fan calling himself Brian Jones on the internet site Facebook, which shows three people holding a dead swan upside down.

The offending picture
Some Swansea fans believed the picture was a taunt against their club, and set up a group on the site to complain about the picture and demand that it was removed immediately.
Renee Cullen, aged 32, of Cockett, said she was disgusted by the picture. "I've lived in Swansea all my life and I'm very aware of the Cardiff City rivalry within football, but as an animal lover I was upset to see this picture."
The man behind the Brian Jones profile said it was not his real name and that his listed age, 24, was also fake. He confirmed to the Post that he put the picture on his site because of its message to Swans fans, but insisted it was neither he nor his friends in the picture and that it was all just a joke. He said he found the picture using the search site Google.

“Re:Zack Jones, Newcastle
As you appear to be an up and coming 'upstart' in the world of journalism, there is as much 'friendly' rivalry between Newsatle and Sunderland, as there is between Swansea and Cardiff! There was nothing wrong on the wrong part of Thisissouthwales, to highlight a Cardiff fan mocking Swansea's fans with a picture of a dead Swan on Facebook, which was clearly aimed at Swansea City and its fans! If you cannot understand the importance of Sensationalism in journalism, then you are trying to enter the wrong profession for you! Unlike Newcastle United's shirts, not everything is black and white!”
