GYLFI Sigurdsson has targeted more goals after opening his Swansea City account at West Brom on Saturday.

The on-loan midfielder equalised during the clash at The Hawthorns, turning in Neil Taylor's cross just 81 seconds after Marc-Antoine Fortune had give the hosts the lead.

It was his first strike since completing a temporary switch from Hoffenheim last month.

Now the Icelandic international is looking to add to that total as he aims to maintain Swansea's Premier League status.

"I believe I'm going to score in every game but that doesn't always happen," he said.

"There was a block on the line in the last game against Chelsea and I got a goal on Saturday to get us back into the game.

"Then Danny Graham got the winner a few minutes later which was perfect.

"As long as the team is winning, that's important.

"I like to set up goals as well, so if someone else scores that's also fine as long as we're picking up points."

Sigurdsson provided the assist for Graham's tenth goal of the season which arrived just four minutes after Swansea's opener.

He played a perfectly paced cross that the striker stretched to place in the bottom corner.

It was an encouraging display from the former Reading man, who arrived at the Liberty during German football's winter break.

"It was quite hard when I first arrived because I hadn't been playing as we'd had a Christmas break," said the 22-year-old.

"It took me a couple of weeks to get going but I think now I'm match fit and looking forward to the next few months here.
