Ex-Wales star completes charity challenge
FORMER Wales and Ospreys star Huw Bennett has completed a cycle challenge in memory of a dad-of-two who died of cancer.
The Grand Slam winner, along with members of Gowerton and Dunvant rugby clubs, cycled between all four regional rugby stadia in support of Ty Olwen.
They are supporting the Swansea-based hospice as it cared for Tony Jones, while he was battling oesophageal cancer.
Mr Jones, whose sons Ryan, 13, and Rhys, 11, play for the junior section at Gowerton RFC, died in November last year. He was just 42.
The fundraisers completed the ride on Sunday ending up outside Parc Y Scarlets in Llanelli.
Huw Bennett lives in Gowerton and his step-son played for the club to a junior level.
