Environment Agency warns of more localised flooding for South Wales
THE Environment Agency Wales is urging people to be prepared for yet more localised flooding today.
After weeks of snow and now rain, further persistent downpours are expected to hit most of Wales this morning and continue throughout the day.

Strong winds combined with high tides have led to the agency to warm people to be careful on the coast.
Driving conditions are expected to be difficult and the agency is advising drivers to take extra care while out and about.

Graham Hillier, from Environment Agency Wales said: "Our teams have been working around the clock over the weekend to keep our rivers clear and to make sure that flood defences remain in good condition ahead of further rainfall.
"With more rain on the way, we're advising people to take precautions and be on their guard for flooding.
"Anyone concerned about flooding in their area can phone Floodline on 0845 988 1188 or visit our website for advice on how to prepare or to find out if free flood warnings are available in their area."
Over the weekend the emergency services received hundreds of calls from residents across South West Wales regarding flooding.
On Friday a motorist was rescued from a car which was stuck in flood water on the main road in Penclawdd.
There was also isolated flooding at the bottom of Brynmill Lane in Swansea, where it meets Mumbles Road.
One driver who saw the flooding said: "People were unable to get through the flood water. People were trying to turn right off Mumbles Road into Brynmill Road.
"Drivers were stopping and reversing on the main carriageway because they couldn't get through."
One flood warning and seven flood alerts are currently in place.
