Emergency crews called to M4 accidents
THE emergency services have dealt with two accidents on the M4 this morning.
Shortly after 8.30am two cars were involved in a collision on the eastbound carriageway between Hendy and Penllergaer. One person was injured, and was placed on a spinal board.

Fire crews from Morriston and Pontarddulais helped paramedics and the police.
At 7.30am, a lorry and a car were involved in a collision on the westbound carriageway between Ynysforgan and Llangyfelach. One person suffered minor injuries. All three emergency services attended the scene.

“If people showed a bit more consideration and sense on the roads perhaps we could manage a week without an accident on the M4 in Wales. Its not that hard to show more consideration and drive a bit better - in a rush? don't be - leave 10 minutes earlier or suffer the fact that your going to be late. Just consider that your rushing and poor driving could be puttingsomone else life in danger.”
