ELECTORAL arrangements for the Welsh Government are set to change, including new five-year terms.

The move was announced by Welsh Secretary David Jones following a consultation.

Three changes were announced. These were the permanent move from four-year terms, an end to the ban on candidates standing in regions and constituencies, but a new ban on AMs standing as MPs simultaneously.

A fourth change to Parliamentary constituencies will not go ahead.
