Eden Hazard charged by FA
EDEN Hazard has been charged by the Football Association over his clash with Swansea City ball boy Charlie Morgan.
The Belgian was set to serve a three-game ban after being shown a straight red card in the closing stages of Wednesday's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg at the Liberty.
But that suspension may now be increased.

“I certainly do not condone what Eden Hazard did but at the same time this so called ballboy needs to grow up and stop acting like a spoilt brat with his Twitter messages boasting of his knowledge of expensive champagne and how he deals in $100 bills. Doesn't this privileged teenager realise that most Swans fans have to make financial sacrifices to buy a Liberty ticket!”

“Did you see their bench for the cup game? Even when they were searching for goals they sent on a fullback to aid the attack, one of four defensive players on the bench. With players at the Africans cup and others struggling for fitness, a 3+ ban will hit them hard. Though it serves them right IMO. They do have multitudes of young players to call upon, but unlike the Swans, they're afraid to field them.”

“Although Hazard's actions were hasty and stupid, I would prefer the whole matter to be over with now. I would like to think that a 3 match ban is sufficient - after all, for a club like Chelsea with umpteen £Million of players on the bench it will not really affect them. In normal circumstances, Swansea should support Hazard in arguing against a further ban and let Chelsea deal with it internally. This would help to deflect the flack from Swans and any implication that ball boys were told to slow the game down. However, in this situation I think we would be better served by keeping quiet and lettinng the next round of FA CUp results take their turn on the football news merry go round.”
