Economy minister says Welsh Government will continue to work with Unity management
EDWINA Hart, the Welsh Government Minister for Economy, has said she will continue to work with a Neath Valley mine which has filed for administration.
On Thursday, Unity mines, Cwmgwrach, announced the news, which could see hundreds of people lose their jobs.
Mrs Hart said: "The Welsh Government have an established relationship with the company, as an economically important company in Wales. This move is therefore obviously very disappointing news, not only for the Welsh economy, but for the company's employees and their families. We will continue to work with the company and with any appointed administrators."
