Early try lift for Athletic
CARMARTHEN Athletic Under-12s played host to Pembroke at the weekend and emerged 17-0 winners in a tough fixture.
In wet and muddy conditions, both teams had their fair share of handling errors which provided plenty of turnover ball.
The Athletic opened up the scoring with wing Lewis Jones crossing to take them into the interval with a 5-0 lead.
Both teams battled hard in the early stages of the second half but it was the Athletic who scored next with Ben Singer going under the posts.
