Dunvant Under-16s break their trophy duck at long last
DUNVANT and Three Crosses Under-16s bounced back from a disappointing season to win the Union Rangers Luke Willis Memorial Tournament.
This is the first trophy the team has won since starting at under-7 level.
Dunvant beat Pontlliw 2-0 after a hard-fought semi-final, while Afan Lido beat Mumbles Rangers 1-0 in their semi.
In the final the score remained 0-0 after extra time and it was decided by penalties, with Dunvant eventually prevailing in a sudden-death shootout.
Manager Donielle Rose said: "Since we started competing in it, this two-day annual event has always been run with professionalism and efficiency."
