Dream goalscoring debut for Hughes
BONYMAEN Colts made it through to the second round of the FAW Trophy when beating Tongwynlais 1-0.
The Colts, past semi-finalists in this competition, earned a tie in the next round at Llanelli Town.
Bonymaen created enough chances to have won this match by a bigger scoreline, but were grateful to Lee Johnson who settled this match on 30 minutes.

New signing Matthew Hughes starred for Penlan Club on his debut as they overcame Kenfig Hill 6-2.
Carl Mucha should have had three in the first ten minutes including a missed penalty. Hughes put Penlan in front after 15 minutes before Kenfig Hill equalised.
An own goal increased Penlan's lead before Dale Hulland saved a penalty at the other end.
After the hosts made it 2-2, Andrew Lorey scored before the break. Hughes set up Mucha for the fourth and Hughes then scored two individual efforts to seal a hat-trick and complete the win.
Maltsters Sports made excellent progress with a 5-2 defeat of much fancied Ebbw Vale.
Scott Jewell sparkled for Maltsters with a pair of goals, while Jamie Harris and a pair from Chris Hughes earned them a home tie against Cardiff Met University.
Garden Village saw off Swansea Dockers 1-0, Ynystawe Athletic went down to Liswery and Rockspur's interest in the competition ended with a 3-2 home defeat by Cwmbach.
Cwmfelin Press recorded their biggest win in this competition with a resounding 10-2 win over Cefn Fforest. Andrew Kift (3), Rob Clark, Jay Morris (2), Paul Lewis, Ross Lynch and a late goal from sub Ricky Kerr earned a home tie against Bridgend Street, 2-0 winners over Ragged School.
