TELEVISION drama fans in Llandeilo will be given a unique opportunity to preview the first episode of S4C's brand new series, Alys, days before it is broadcast on the Welsh language channel.

Alys is the latest offering from award-winning writer Siwan Jones from near Llandeilo and it's a story about a single mother who will do almost anything to see her young son realise his dream of becoming an astronaut.

The preview evening will take place at Llandeilo Civic Hall at 7.30pm on Monday, January 17.

Following the screening, the audience can discuss the drama and ask questions to the panel connected with the series, including writer Siwan Jones, producer Paul Jones and Amman Valley actress Sara Lloyd Gregory, who plays the title role.
