A DONKEY was reunited with its owners yesterday after being found wandering in freezing temperatures in a Swansea park.

The brown and white creature was spotted in a gated section of Brynmill Park. Catherine Jenkins, whose donkey named Dave was stolen last November, was called to attend the incident and helped bring the animal back to his owners in Penlan.

She said: "Whoever took him must have been an animal lover because they locked him in the playground."

“I do hope this donkey wasn`t tethered without shelter? They do not have a weatherproof coat like horses and ponies.”
