Donations still accepted
CARMARTHEN charity shops British Red Cross and Oxfam, in King Street, continue to take cash donations towards the Japan earthquake and tsunami appeal.
It is now more than a year since the disaster struck the country.
Carmarthen firefighter Dean John was among 60 UK fire fighters who travelled to stricken country following a search and rescue mission in northern Japan. The work involved other international teams.
