Dog walker airlifted from Porthcawl to Morriston Hospital with suspected dislocated knee

A DOG walker was airlifted to hospital after suffering a suspected dislocated knee.

Swansea coastguard was alerted to the incident, which happened at around 6pm last night, at The Burrows, in Newton, Porthcawl.

The coastguard crew helped locate the woman, who is believed to have fallen while walking her dog, before she was airlifted to Morriston Hospital by the RAF Search and Rescue team from Chivenor.

The condition of the casualty is unknown.
