Davies wants at least six victories
SCARLETS head coach Nigel Davies has challenged his players to claim at least six wins from their remaining seven league matches to book a place in the RaboDirect Pro12 play-offs.
The West Walians are currently six points off the top four in seventh spot in the table following successive defeats at Glasgow and Leinster.
Already, tomorrow's clash with Treviso at Parc y Scarlets (7.35pm) has entered must-win territory with the Scarlets' hopes bolstered by the release of Lou Reed, Aaron Shingler, Rhodri Jones and Liam Williams from Six Nations duty.
"It is everything to play for, quite frankly," said Davies.
"If you look at our points tally against the same teams last season we are a point ahead, but over the next seven games we probably have to win six of them.
"There are games we have to nail and these next two at home (Treviso and Connacht) are vital. It is going to be tough, but we have four games in all at home and the other matches are winnable."
