Swansea kickboxer Daniel Francis is aiming for the top
DANIEL Francis looks to complete four years of hard work next week by achieving his dream and becoming a world kickboxing champion.
The 21-year-old Birchgrove talent challenges for two titles when the World Kickboxing Championships begin in Edinburgh on Monday.

Francis, a self employed trainer, competes in the under 90kgs men's section for the points and continuous titles.
A former English contact Karate Association champion and winner of various Welsh Opens, Francis is part of a 33-strong Welsh squad that faces strong competition from America and Canada.
The first degree dan, a member of Glynneath-baed Academy of Discipline Martial Arts, has one target in mind.
"I've been kickboxing since I was 17 and have dreamt of winning this tournament," said Francis. "I've been a national champion but the next objective is to be a world champion.
"To hear the national anthem playing out as a world champion is the dream scenario for me."
Six months of strict training has gone into Francis' preparation, and he has dropped six stone since November in order to get into the best shape possible for the event.
He had hoped to compete in last year's event, but funding issues cost him his spot.
"I was disappointed not to go last time," he added. "I've had to pay £900 to go this year, but I've had a lot of help from Swansea businesses. I wouldn't have been able to go without the sponsorship and help from Merlin Coach Tours, Victoria Windows and Trinity Nursing Services.
"Now it's up to myself to deliver the world title."
