Danger drug being sold to kids for 20p
EVIL drug dealers are offering illegal drug meow meow to children in Burry Port for 20p a go, police have said.
The news has shocked parents, school governors and community leaders.
They have urged parents in the town to educate their children to the dangers of the drug, also known as mephedrone, and to warn their children not to accept anything off strangers.
Community leaders have also pleaded with the public to report any suspicious activity to police.

The call comes after PC Wyn Davies, talking about meow meow at a Cross Hands Pact meeting last week, said: "It's the biggest thing I've seen since I was in the job.
He said meow meow sold for £10 a bag, but added that he'd heard rumours that it was being offered for "20 pence a go" in Burry Port, in an attempt to "try to get children on it".
Burry Port town councillor Graham Davies, who also runs the Burry Port Christian Forum, which puts on activities for the town's youth, said: "It is an appalling thing. Everybody has got to be really vigilant in regard to identifying those people who are doing this.
"Also, I think the schools should have in place an appropriate drug education programme.
"Many schools have this anyway, but they should be focusing on things like meow meow and other substances available in the community so that children have a proper awareness and an understanding.
"It needs children to think through their attitudes and think what keeps them healthy.
"Also, it's a question of making sure we have sufficient places in our communities for children and young people to go in their leisure time.
"There needs to be greater facilities to get children off the street and into a safe environment." He added that young children did not know what they were being offered.
"They don't know the dangers and are very vulnerable," said Mr Davies. "It's a very cruel and cynical way they are taking advantage of vulnerable children."
Earlier this month, the Evening Post ran a series of articles on meow meow, including the problems it was causing at accident and emergency departments, with doctors concerned at the levels of violence they were seeing in people who had taken the drug.
It was also said this month that Swansea and Llanelli were hot spots for use of the drug and that there had been a 165 per cent increase in offences involving it in Wales compared with 12 months ago.
It is thought the success of the Heroin Ruins Lives campaign, run by South Wales Police and backed by the Evening Post, may have influenced some users to switch to meow meow.
Burry Port father of two Hefin Williams said he was very concerned that meow meow was being sold to children.
"As a parent I am actively speaking and educating my 15 and 10-year-olds about drugs and their effect on families and people's lives. I urge the local community to be vigilant and report any strange behaviour to the police or call 101," he said.
Town mayor Mary Wenman said police were taking a zero tolerance approach to drugs and doing their utmost, but said they needed the help of the public.

“20p? I simply cant imagine dealers making such a huge loss somehow.
