Cyclists find bikes are the way to go
CYCLISTS in Swansea have been swapping short car journeys in favour of walking and getting on their bikes.
They have been taking part in the Welsh Government's Way To Go campaign, which aims to encourage everyone in Wales to think about how to save energy and money while tackling climate change at the same time.
And those taking part have found thank you tags attached to their bikes.
Way To Go team member from Swansea Charlotte Davies said: "While it's often perceived as being easier to jump in the car, I've found that by walking and cycling I've managed to avoid traffic jams and paying for parking in the town centre.
"I also feel much fitter this summer."
