THE two unbeaten teams went head to head in the big game of the day in division three south west, and Trebanos emerged triumphant.

They beat visitors Mumbles 16-8 in a close game where both sides scored one try and the kicking of centre Nick Damjanovic proved the difference.

Full-back Andrew Claypole touched down for Mumbles and wing Matthew Edwards crossed for the hosts, but Damjanovic's three penalties and a conversion took Trebanos clear and denied Mumbles a bonus point.

Morriston moved up the table with a seven-try 41-0 win at home to bottom club Aberavon Green Stars. They were 17-0 up at half-time.

Bryncoch scored four tries via centre Andrew Spratt, hooker Steve George, replacement lock Rhys Clements and fly-half Gavin Jones, who added one conversion and a penalty.
