Crunch match goes Trebanos's way
THE two unbeaten teams went head to head in the big game of the day in division three south west, and Trebanos emerged triumphant.
They beat visitors Mumbles 16-8 in a close game where both sides scored one try and the kicking of centre Nick Damjanovic proved the difference.
Full-back Andrew Claypole touched down for Mumbles and wing Matthew Edwards crossed for the hosts, but Damjanovic's three penalties and a conversion took Trebanos clear and denied Mumbles a bonus point.
Morriston moved up the table with a seven-try 41-0 win at home to bottom club Aberavon Green Stars. They were 17-0 up at half-time.
