Cruelty must be stopped
AS an avid reader of your paper which I have delivered daily to my front door, I must congratulate the Evening Post on the recent exposure (Post, January 11) of the ongoing cruelty to young horses in Blaenymaes and Penplas.
Young horses, knee -deep in mud chained up with no evidence of any type of horse feed been given to them, young horses being starved, surely animal cruelty at its highest level. I just hope now you have highlighted it that the authorities will take action to bring to an end this cruel practice of chaining up horses to fend for themselves.

“I've always been of the opinion that someone who's cruel to animals is just as likely to be cruel to people. And that there should be no difference in the punishment be it an animal or human.”
