Criticism of Ann's cooking
IN a couple of months she could be the First Lady of America — but questions have been raised about Ann Romney's Welsh cakes.
The wife of Republican presidential hopefully Mitt comes from a family of Maesteg miners who emigrated to the States, and she has been handing out homemade Welsh cakes on the campaign trail.

However, it seems they have not been to everyone's tastes — Cardiff-born journalist Alex Rees, who writes for the New York Magazine, said Mrs Romney's cakes were too thick, meaning they would not cook properly in the middle without burning.
He said: "I'm here to tell you Ann Romney's cakes are no good. No good at all."

“Are you serious? The USA is in danger of electing a Republican with some very strange ideas and you want to talk about his wife's Welshcakes?
I have criticized the Post previously about using a crowbar to find a story, but this is just plain ridiculous.”
