Corrwg just too strong for Cwm
CWMGWRACH Under-7s were beaten 5-3 at home by a strong Glyncorrwg side.
The hosts made a bright start with Cosmo Collins scoring the first try of the match, but Glyncorrwg hit back with two tries of their own soon afterwards.
It was a competitive first half, with Glyncorrwg having to defend determinedly to stop Cwmgwrach from adding to their points tally.
The home side started the second half well, with tries from captain Sam Edwards and new signing Keelan Williams.

Spirited
Glyncorrwg, however, were slightly stronger and emerged victorious despite a spirited effort from Cwmgwrach players such as Bradley Williams and Thomas Loynes.
An entertaining local derby saw Glynneath Under-7s win 7-5 against Cwmgwrach.
Both sides played with great skill and there were first-half tries for Cwmgwrach from captain Keiron Casey and Matthew Whiles, though Glynneath led 4-3 at the break.
Cwmgwrach's Tomas Davies claimed a hat-trick and the entire side showed excellent passing and tagging skills.
Jac Jones and Bradley Williams — who was named man of the match in both games — were particularly impressive for Cwmgwrach but Glynneath held on for victory.
