Consider the source of cuts
I WAS amazed to read comments by regional Conservative AM Byron Davies stating that the Welsh Government had placed "intolerable pressure" on ABMU Health Board with its decision to cut health spending in Wales.
Surely it's time Mr Davies accepts that all cuts to public expenditure in Wales are a direct result of the cuts imposed on Wales by the Conservative and Lib Dem coalition at Westminster.
I for one certainly don't want to see a reduction in expenditure on key public services, like health, in Wales. However, with a hugely reduced grant from Mr Davies's party in Westminster, it's inevitable cuts in public services will follow.
Can I suggest Mr Davies pass on his complaints and concerns over public service expenditure to his fellow Conservatives, David Cameron and George Osborne. The health service, education and other key public services in Wales are suffering as a result of the cuts of the Coalition Government.
