SWANSEA Schools FA Under-13s continued their winning start to the season with a 6-0 victory against Ceredigion.

Swansea began confidently and took the lead after five minutes when a perfectly weighted through ball from Cameron Berry was collected by Joe Hunt, who calmly chipped the keeper.

Swansea doubled their lead three minutes later when a Ceredigion goal kick was intercepted by the industrious Berry, who picked out striker Lewys Edwards to calmly finish.

Ceredigion soon found themselves further behind when Jack Scrine finished from close range when the keeper failed to hold onto a Lewys Edwards shot.

Another good passing move was rewarded with a goal when Tom Price picked out Berry on the left. Berry hit the ball on the half-volley, giving the keeper no chance to make it 4-0 at the break.

In the second half Ceredigion tried to find a way back into the game, but Swansea keeper Jason Johnson was rarely troubled.

Swansea continued to create problems for the Ceredigion defenders and scored twice more. The first was via a powerful Joe Hunt shot from outside the area, before a close-range Jack Sullivan finish from a Jack Scrine cross.
