Comic to share his thoughts
DESPITE going through his career looking like a comedian out of time — he would look much more at home pulling those faces of mock exasperation in a Laurel and Hardy film — Paul Merton still packs them in.
Proving he has got legs, after 22 years behind the Have I Got News For You Desk, sparring politely with Ian Hislop, he pays a visit to Swansea's Grand Theatre tomorrow, for a return to stand-up.
-

Paul plugs in from 8pm, with his latest show, Out of My Head, in which he shares some of the ponderous contents of his mind.
So be prepared for tangental thinking, wordplay, ranting and more than a little oddness. Ever the traditionalist, he will be joined by his bevvy of 'dancing girls' Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Suki Webster on the night.

The comic has a soft spot for Swansea, by all accounts, having started his career at St Jude's Church as part of the Swansea Fringe way back in the 1980s.
That venue is in need of repairs at the moment, with a series of fundraisers going ahead there recently to help out.
This show is suitable for over 14-year-olds, and tickets are likely to sell out fast, so check ahead with the venue for availability before you set off..
