IN reply to S Anderson's letter (Have Your Say, October 22) challenging my views on refuse left to fester.

Tenby is full of guest houses and B&Bs. I am sure these busy people have no time to peruse the colour code of plastic bags.

I disagree that people can be stubborn and not recycle, perhaps they are the ones who value their health and rifling through refuse bags is not on their agenda.

The green plastic bins are strewn everywhere — how much do they hold?

They are too small for their purpose in any sense. Supply large green wheelie bins.

All refuse should be collected regardless of what colour bag it is every week.

“Why would anyone rifle through their own bin bags?
B&B, Hotels etc., have staff to take care of rubbish disposal.

Swansea Council supplies 2 plastic waste food containers.
A small container for the kitchen
    and
    a 12" x 11" x 18" bin for outside.
I idea is that people put their waste food (peelings, bones, tea bags etc.) in the kitchen bin
and then transfer the contents to the larger bin when necessary.

    You can't please everyone.
