Coedffranc councillors air concerns over MoT testing station planned for Sidings Terrace in Skewen
QUESTIONS are being asked over plans for an MoT testing and car repairs development in Skewen.
Neath Port Talbot Council has received a planning application for a change of use at a car showroom at J&J Motors in Siding Terrace.
Coedffranc community councillors were asked for their opinions.
They had concerns relating to parking, potential noise and opening hours.

"I worry about parking", said Councillor Jan Jones.
"There are problems up there already."
Councillors agreed to pass on these concerns.

“There has been a garage on sidings terrace for many years doing repairs and mot testing, I think it would be much better than that crumbling eyesore of a showroom. Also, if you drive on the road there are no parking issues? If they allow it to go ahead cars being done will be within their grounds and not on the streets anyway so parking is a poor reason to submit objections”
