Coca-Cola 'addict' loses eight stone after quitting favourite drink
COLA addict Jason Morgan has lost eight and a half stone in just eight months — by quitting his habit of downing 10 litres of the fizzy drink every day.
Jason, aged 32, ballooned to 23 and a half stone after swigging down five two-litre bottles of Coca-Cola every day — that's 26 cans.

Lorry driver Jason admitted he even washed down his fried breakfast every day with a large glass of Coke.
But he decided to kick the habit after seeing himself on his brother's wedding video — and was so disgusted by his size he decided to get help.
He joined WeightWatchers to quit Coke and he has dropped an amazing 8st 8lbs.
Jason, who is 5ft 11in, said: "I loved my Coke — to me it was as addictive as any drug.
"I used to have one with my fried breakfast then I'd snack constantly on junk food like crisps and chocolate with Coke during the day.
"Then I'd get a takeaway for tea with a few Cokes to wash it down.
"I was really addicted to it. I used to go through five two-litre Coca-Cola bottles each day.
"I've never exercised because I couldn't physically do it and I just used to eat junk food and drink Coke.
"When I was driving around I would always have Coke in my lorry."
But Jason, of Skewen, near Neath, became fed-up wearing XXXXL clothes and being the biggest bloke in the room.
He said: "I went on holiday with my brother Andrew and I had to have a special seatbelt on the plane because I was too fat for the normal ones.
"Then I watched my brother renewing his wedding vows on video and was shocked to see myself as others see me.
"I was embarrassed, ashamed and actually disgusted with myself."
On his weight-loss programme Jason swapped Coke for calorie-free flavoured water and lost a massive 13lb in his first week.
Jason is now down to 14 stone 10lbs and after giving up Coke he has a lot more fizz in his life.
He said: "My life has changed completely now. I wear new clothes and I'm fitter than ever before.
"I've even got a girlfriend for the first time in years. It's goodbye to Coke and hello new life!"
WeightWatchers spokeswoman Julie Littlewood said: "Jason is a truly inspirational role model for anyone hoping to lose weight.
"He looks fantastic and is much more confident than he was when he first came and I'm so impressed by his transformation.
"He is a real inspiration and we're very proud of him."

“Hi
Am alison, i have a friend who is addicted to coca cola the fizzy drink, i have done some research on google, which i have came across your website, i am looking on her behalf to see if there are any books or suport groups. From what i can gather she isnt alone that there are other people in same boat, but were she lives, she as no support at all, she as asked for support / help etc, but no one as even offered her help at all.
I wonder if there is a book on that subject. She isnt on the intenet. If a book can be got from amazon or waterstones, then that would be great
Regards,
ALISON”

“Coke is full of Caffeine which is a highly addictive substance.
Symptoms Of Caffeine Withdrawal
Headaches, memory alterations, irritability, tiredness and nausea can all be caused during the period of withdrawal, to be expected when giving-up caffeine. Symptoms of withdrawal may last up to four days.!
Stick to lemonade I say!”

“Surely Daniel Kelly is joking. Addicted to Coke? Addicted to Coke. He must be having a laugh. I mean, Coke isn't addictive so how can anyone get addicted to to it? It doesn't make sense.”

“Well done to you Jason!
Its not just about the weight loss its the confidece you have gained.Everybody needs a leverage to do something about themselves at some point in their life, and when you have succeeded in doing so theres always somebody to make a negative remark(please note AJ, Swansea).IM shure we all have some vices and Jason should be an inspiration to us all and give us some will power.”
