Six weeks ago, after the defeat to Ireland, not many would have thought Wales would be playing for the Six Nations championship.

It's been a roller-coaster ride, which climaxes today when Wales take on the old enemy. And reflecting those undulating emotions has been ten-year-old Nathan Blackmore-Davies, who has starred throughout in the BBC's Six Nations teasers before and after each of the games.
The Gellionen Primary pupil, who lives in Clydach, has been playing the role of Scott, reflecting the mood of the nation as the team works its way through the competition.

And today the youngster, who plays for Vardre RFC, will film one of his final scenes — when he walks out onto the sacred turf at the Millennium Stadium before the game starts, carrying the ball the two teams will moments later be fighting tooth and nail to possess.

He said: "It's been a really good experience, and going out at the stadium will be awesome.
"I think it is going to be really close, but we just might win it."
Nathan's performances have been hailed by the WRU.
Their head of communications John Williams said: "Nathan has brought the nation together with his positivity and enthusiasm for the jersey and the Wales team. He has made us all believe that whatever the odds we can do it."
