Clubs facing a fixture backlog
IN one of the wettest seasons in the history of the Costcutter Ceredigion Football League, it is inevitable clubs will face a major fixture backlog towards the end of the campaign.
With league officials already experiencing headaches due to a large number of postponements, the situation was compounded over the festive period when the weather again took a hand.
A total of 22 games were called off in the space of three days with only the division one game between Crannog and Felinfach at the Urdd Centre escaping the weather — Crannog won 3-0.
