A GOLF club in Carmarthenshire is supporting a drive to get adults and children playing the sport.

Garnant Golf Club near Ammanford is participating in the New2Golf membership scheme launched by Golf Development Wales and the Professional Golfers Association (PGA).

It costs £5 and provides a helping hand to any newcomer to the sport — including discounted lesson vouchers, public liability insurance and rules and etiquette reminders.
