Club's first taste of victory
SWANSEA Handball Club celebrated the first win in their short history when they emerged from Aberystwyth with the spoils.
The club was only established in October 2012 following the profile the sport received during the London Olympics.
Swansea took two sides to Aberystwyth, a mixed team and a men's team.
The mixed team played first and even though they fought valiantly against more experienced players they lost 27-10 with Laura Morris standing out for her workrate in both attack and defence.

It was a lead they were never to relinquish and Swansea finished deserved 23-12 victors to claim their first ever win.
Man of the man went to the youngest squad member Chris Pickard, who was strong in defence and clinical in attack.
