Cleared in rape case
A NEATH man who denied sexually assaulting a young girl has been unanimously cleared by a jury.
As he was discharged from the dock at Swansea Crown Court, Christopher Wayne Williams was embraced by supporters in the public gallery.
He was adamant at his trial that the alleged offence had never happened.
The prosecution claimed that Mr Williams, 25, of Heol Illtyd, had touched the young complainant in a sexual way.
