Claims on NHS cash are denied
WELSH Health Minister Lesley Griffiths's department has hit back over claims that Swansea Bay health chiefs are being placed in an impossible position.
Officials have stressed the Welsh Government is injecting in 40 per cent of its budget into the NHS in Wales and has committed millions to Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board.
Byron Davies, AM for South Wales West, said the board already had a £3.98 million overspend.
A spokesman for Mrs Griffiths said it was "nonsense" that it was cutting health spending and said ABMU Health Board has £871million in 2012-13 to deliver local NHS services.
