After Saturday's washout, the clouds lifted on Sunday for Wales National Airshow — and what a show it was.

The famous RAF Red Arrows lead the way with their breath-taking aerial manoeuvres, to be followed by host of aircraft including the new Typhoon Eurofighter, helicopters and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, as well as the Tigers parachute team.
There was plenty to keep crowds occupied on the ground, with a host of stalls, activities and displays, as well as a family fairground.

“I thought the air-show was amazing and was told that the Red Arrows could be seen in Penlan. going off subject, I have a few comments for some people who have mentioned things on this article:
Very Old Jack, Fendrod lake, I don't think that people care about your Denn Hagg Scarf so can you stay on the subject?!
Heather, Mwmbwls, why don't you try being nice to people for a change love? You go on about how great this country used to be and yet you probably have nothing else to do than be nasty to people.
Sarah, Sandfields, Swansea: I totally agree with you saying that this site hase become a joke. The reason is that no-one bothers to stay on subject, they just want a pathetic argument.”

“Absolutely brilliant! What a fabulous day out for everyone and free. I'm shocked at some of the comments on here whinging, but I'd like to say a massive THANK YOU to Swansea Council and everyone else for arranging this. I was honoured to come from Swansea last weekend, and although I don't understand war or necissarioly agree with it at times, seeing the Eurofighter especially filled me with thoughts of people who are victims of war and see scary images like this every day. Well done everyone. It was amazing - Let's hope people start to appreciate what Swansea CC do for free for its habitants. You won't beat this city for beauty and committment from its workers.”
