APPLE enthusiasts can squeeze every last drop out of the weekend with the Gower Cider Weekend coming up.

The two-day affair starts at 11am on Saturday and if you have your own crop, or a bag of windfalls on tap, you can take them along to make juice or cider on their ancient press.

Staff at the centre will serve up their own crop too, and visitors can enjoy tasting sessions and local brews, cider sorbet, as well as puppetry, pottery, music and showings in the La Charette cinema.

A spokesman for the centre said: "Come along and try our famous Mill Cider made with apples from our own orchard.
