Church hits century
IT'S 100 years not out for a Swansea Valley church — and a BBC Wales cricketing correspondent is part of the centenary celebrations this week.
St Michael's and All Angels Church, Trebanos, is hosting several events this week and home to floral displays and exhibitions representing the decades gone by.

Tomorrow evening, BBC Wales's Edward Bevan is compere for an evening of music by local talent, from 7pm, while local primary schoolchildren are due to visit on Thursday morning. A quiz night takes place on Friday at 7pm.
The Rev Lyndon Taylor, the vicar of Clydach, pointed out that the church was built in the year that Titanic sunk.

One of the church's previous vicars, the Rev Canon Huw Mosford, is the current director of chaplaincy for the Mission to Seafarers, and took a Titanic remembrance service in the middle of the Atlantic earlier this year.
