Childcare scheme praised
A SCHEME aimed at helping more Swansea families with childcare in school holidays has won high praise.
The holiday care scheme run by Swansea Council from St Helen's Primary School was inspected this summer by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate, Wales (CSSIW).
It found excellent standards of care resulting in happy and safe children enjoying a range of activities.
Mitchell Theaker, cabinet member for opportunities for children and young people, said: "I am delighted the inspectors have recognised what the parents and guardians sending children to this scheme already tell us.
Free tea or coffee with every 3 course lunch purchased within
our Award-winning Dragon Brasserie, located at street level in the heart of Swansea.
An ideal place to watch the world go by!

"It is simply a great place, with well planned activities that children love.
"This scheme has come about because we recognise that the six-week school holidays is a very trying period for any family, especially for those working with a young family."
