Child rushed to hospital by air ambulance
A YOUNG child was rushed to Morriston Hospital by air ambulance this morning.
Emergency crews were called to an address in Varteg Road, Ystalyfera, at around 9.55am.
A spokesman for South Wales Police added: "Just after 10am today police assisted the ambulance service helicopter in landing in Ystalyfera for a child to be taken to hospital."
The Wales Ambulance Service confirmed the incident was "medical related".

“Do you know, some of you people will pick up on any words or phrase you can just to add some sarcastic comment. The phrase "medical related" implies that it was medical as opposed to an injury - that's not too hard to understand is it???”

“i would like to inform you, that the air ambulance was used to take my 8 week old nephew to hospital. i can not think of any other reason of more importance for the air aimbulance to be used and am very greatful to the crew and morriston hospital.”

Oh my goodness, I thought it was there for a plumbing job.
And should it not be "medically"?
I do hope the child is ok though, I have nothing but admiration for the work the ambulance does.”
