Cheque it out — Jaguar F-Type snapped in Carmarthenshire
A PRELAUNCH version of a car which has been 40 years in the making, has been spotted in Carmarthenshire.
This Jaguar F-Type is among the first of its kind to be seen on the road — but failed to cause a flurry of excitement in Llangennech, near Llanelli, where it was spotted over the weekend.

The car — which will replace the E-Type of the 1970s next year — would not usually have taken a route through the village, a Jaguar spokesman revealed. "One of the Jaguar engineering team was evaluating a prototype of the F-Type over the weekend," he said.
"The driver was in Llangennech in West Wales visiting friends.

"This isn't a regular route for the engineering team."
The chequered-flag camouflaged vehicle was spotted by an Evening Post photographer — but very few people living in the village have seen the car.
However, graduate David Darbyshire was among those who did spot the car during the weekend, while it was parked on the main road in the village. "It was impressive," he said, adding that a friend saw the car in the village twice.
Olympian Jessica Ennis also travelled in the vehicle during the Lord Mayor's Parade in London on Saturday.
