Charvis's car towed away for second time
FORMER Wales rugby captain Colin Charvis has had his car towed away from outside his business for a second time, in an ongoing row with Swansea Council.
Last month, the former British Lion watched as his 4 x 4 was taken away from outside his floor covering business on Oystermouth Road, in an on-going fight over access to his business as major roadworks continue for the authority's European boulevard style project.
And yesterday he watched as it was towed away again.
A Swansea Council spokesman said: "As a compromise, we're proposing a single point of entry and exit for delivery drivers off Victoria Road to and from Mr Charvis' business. Although Mr Charvis hasn't yet formally responded to this proposal, he has responded positively to the suggestion."
But Mr Charvis argued: "Is it likely they are going to come and dig it up again immediately after completing this work?"
