Charity's dinner boost
MORE than £2,500 was raised for a Llanelli children's charity at a special black tie dinner over the weekend. Carmarthenshire Youth and Children's Association hosted a fundraising event at the Diplomat Hotel in Felinfoel featuring special guests, including singer and etertainer Mike Doyle, who is a charity ambassador, and Helen Enser Morgan, who compered the evening.
Guests enjoyed a feast of Domino's Pizza, while Swansea's Morriston Big Band also performed.

Cash raised will go towards funding the services which the charitable organisation offers to families, including its mentoring programme.
